It’s like a canape. But as everybody knows, there’s a trick to canapes. If you throw them into one giant bowl and serve them to people all at once in a really hot room, they’re probably going to taste fairly bland and horrible.

That’s why I think it’s exciting that people are getting clever with short form plays. Stories from the 428 was a great example of curating short plays in a way that combines them into a greater whole, without crushing their individuality. They are neatly arranged on a plate.

So, I’m going to be very interested in seeing the aforementioned plays that you are talking about from STC and Belvoir.
