PLAYWRITING AUSTRALIA CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
Submissions Open for the National Play Festival 2012

Closing date for applications is 3 October 2011

PlayWriting Australia will hold the 2012 National Play Festival in Melbourne from 21 to 25 February. Applications are now invited from Australian playwrights with a new, unproduced work ready for performance.

The National Play Festival gives playwrights a unique opportunity to develop and present their work, in performance, to a national and international audience of theatre companies and producers. To be selected, the submitted play must be of outstanding quality, capable of sitting alongside the finest work produced by theatre companies across Australia and the world.

Closing Date: Applications close Monday, 3 October 2011
